Who we are

What we collect and why

When you fill out a form on this site, or call, text, or email us, we collect the information you send us. That is usually:

• Your name, phone number, and email so we can call or write back
• The address of the property so we know where the work is
• What service you need and any details you add so we can price it accurately
• Whether you asked to receive marketing emails from us

Our website also records the page you were on when you submitted the form, the page that sent you to us, and the internet address (IP address) your computer or phone used at the moment you clicked submit. We use that only if we later need to prove that you asked to receive marketing emails from us on a given day.

What we do with it

We use your information to answer your request, price your job, do the work if you hire us, send you a paid invoice, and stay in touch about that job. That is our normal business. You do not need to opt in to anything for that.

If you also ticked the marketing box on the form, we may add you to occasional emails about seasonal services and offers from Zimick Brothers Cleaning. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every one of those emails, or by writing to us and asking us to remove you. We will do that within a few business days.

Who else sees your information

Very few people. Specifically:

• Our staff. The people who take your call, come out to look, and do the work.
• Our CRM (HighLevel). We use HighLevel as our contact database. Your information sits there in our account.
• Microsoft 365. Our website emails us through Microsoft Outlook so the notification does not land in a junk folder. Microsoft only handles the message on its way to us.
• QuickBooks. When you become a paying customer we set you up in QuickBooks so we can invoice you.

That is the whole list. We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not send it to advertising networks. We do not share it with any other cleaning company, our sister companies (Zimick Electric or Ripple Foundation), or any marketing list broker.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer, and then a further seven years so that our accounting and tax records are complete. If you asked for a quote and never became a customer, we keep the request for two years and then delete it, unless you unsubscribe sooner in which case we remove you sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Show you what information we have about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, unless we still need it for a live job or for tax records
• Stop sending you marketing emails (this we do immediately)

Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. It stores nothing on your device. If we ever add analytics to understand which pages people read, we will name the tool here and explain what it does.

If we ever change this

If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If you are on our marketing list at that time, we will also tell you about the change in the next email.
